Some Race Prep Tips

Sleep well 2 nights before event day. Chances are you won’t sleep well the night before due to excitement. 2 days before the event rest your legs. The day before loosen up with a 15 minute bike and a 15 minute run. In addition, swim at the site, if possible, to loosen up and practice sighting.

The night before the event eat carbs that are white. That includes bread, rice, and/or pasta with tomato sauce.
Drink water! Hydrate, hydrate and hydrate.

“Topping off the tank” event morning with a carb drink, a bagel, and/or bananas will help as well.
